Update from Terri Powell

Hello ladies :o)

I trust all of you are doing well!

Sandra and I met yesterday to upload her photos and she invited you all to her snapfish account! Hope you will take advantage of that! She and I both discussed how we were both feeling a little down....I am still feeling this way and was wondering if you all were too? I guess we were all so buoyant with all those prayers and great things and fellowship (and, dare i say healthy food?) that for me, coming home was a bit of a let-down! Well...hahaha...here's a thing! My sister and I pull up and Gordon is locking up his bike and informed me that 1: my car was broken, 2: Tyler's bike was stolen, "oh great" i am thinking...as walking into the house....immediately it's, "MOM!! We're hungry! There's no food! There's no sodas! Can you get us something!?!" I am now praying, "Please Jesus, just let me get to the bedroom!!" Next is the "Mom! School pictures are tomorrow! I need a check!" "Mom! " "Mom! !"....ARRRRRRRRRGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gordon had the good sense to give me a big hug, a big kiss and shoo'ed the kids out, left me alone for a good 30 minutes in my room to un-pack, and recoup! After another quick prayer, a deep breath...i walked back in the living room and was ready to tackle the issues ahead, one at a time! Yay God! I did it! :o)

Now, I am just still basking in that happiness and thanking God over and over for the great times i had, and looking forward to next year! I am also trying to put together a little something for all of us...so, i shall keep you posted on that!

*hugsabuncha to all*

First Post

Hello Ladies,

I was talking to Lori on the airplane and shared with her that I wanted to keep in contact more often throughout the year. I had an idea about "blogging" but didn't know if it would work. So here's my idea: if you want to let the other ladies who attended the reunion know anything going on in your lives you can send me the info via email and even attach pictures to the email. I will then "cut and paste" it to the blog and let everyone know when new posts are added.
(You will know that there are new posts if you have a Google account or a Blogger account. If you don't have either of these then I will just email them straight to your private email account. If you do have a Google or blogger account then you can subscribe [Click on *Follow this blog*] so that it will automatically let you know when a new post has been added. ) But you don't have to create any new accounts because I will be sending new posts regularly to your email. (Unless you don't want me to.)
It could be events to praise God about or prayer needs, anything you would like us all to know about.

Let me know what you think....love, CZ
